Pictures are great, but video is where it is at! Would you like to see all your kids’ Christmas mornings in one video? How about birthday parties? Or Grandpa’s retirement?

Now that you have all your photos digitized (or if you have 30,000 digital photos on your phone!), we can do simple slide shows or more intricate life story or memorial videos. Just think of how much more meaningful that slideshow could be with video clips of the grandkids talking about their favorite memories or grandma talking about her own childhood.

Videos and slideshows are highly customizable.

A basic slideshow includes 3-5 seconds on each photo, background music, a title and ending graphic, and general quality control to make sure the photos included are displaying the proper image (no more Ken Burns effect slowly zooming in to the backyard fence instead of the dog!)

When is a video a video and not a slideshow? For us, it’s when more than 50% of the final product is video-based rather than still photos. A basic video includes background music, a title and ending graphic, color correction, audio leveling, transitions, and general quality control.
