How does the Get Sorted service work?

Our goal is to help you simplify your life to save and enjoy what matters most. Every situation is different so we work with you to decide what you need and create a plan to get it done! Until you know what you have you cannot determine what you can let go.

No judgement here — we’ve done this ourselves with our own photos and we know how overwhelming and emotional this process can be. That’s why we are here to do it for you! The only way out is through.

In order to create a lasting solution, you can’t cut corners. We start by sorting your photos to create a general timeline of events so we can see just how many great memories you’ve captured…or, how many duplicate photos or blurry images of that sunset that one time.

The great thing about this process is that once it’s done, you’ve safeguarded your most important memories. We will organize the items so that instead of 50 shoeboxes of photos and a closet full of albums — a daunting, overwhelming task — you end up with a compact, neat case of organized photos and an easy way to access and enjoy them forever.

What if I am overwhelmed and don’t know where to start?

That feeling of being overwhelmed and “I’ll get to it someday” is the reason boxes of photos are still taking up valuable space in your closet or under the bed. There is no better investment than in your peace of mind. We will do the hard part. We will go through everything photo by photo, then sort it and organize it. You decide what you want to keep and we will find the best way to save it and store it!

Why should I digitize old pictures and important documents?

When you live in Florida it doesn’t take long for you to realize that this isn’t a kind place for paper. You have probably already noticed how your paper photos and other documents have started to fade and discolor. If you put pictures in old sticky back photo albums decades ago, you may have noticed that those album pages are brown now and some photos feel permanently glued down and others wouldn’t stick if their lives depended on it. Digitizing allows you to keep your photos and documents forever. We will also do everything we can to restore them to their original brilliance, as well as create metadata so the photos fall neatly into a digital timeline. Digitizing also gives you the ability to better enjoy your photos — for example: create long lasting beautiful books; give keepsakes like Christmas ornaments; and, most importantly, be able to easily access and share your photos right from you phone or tablet any time.

Will you help me access my photos once they are digitized?

Part of our service is ensuring that once we are done, you can easily access and enjoy your photos and other digitized items (i.e. kids artwork, newspaper articles, diplomas and awards, etc.) quick and easy - right from your phone or computer / tablet.
